my story - Of course that lump is cancer
So it's just a regular morning standing at the kitchen sink waiting for the jug to boil for that first morning coffee.
You rub your hand across your chest, feel something? no? yes? Is that a lump in my breast? Ignore, and continue making the coffee.
I'll just check and see if that lump is still there or I was imagining it as with very large boobs that are always lumpy it's hard to tell. But you know this lump is different. Well, it's cancer....my mind says, well why not me....my sister had it...why not me.
Now I have to wait to get a breast screen done on Monday, that's all weekend just checking from time to time whether that lump might have just gone away or was it still there. Bugger, it's Monday, that lump is still there.
